As part of a Industrials & Commodities Product Management team, we are recruiting for our Bureau Veritas Industrials & Commodities Product Lines a Data and Digital Services Products Director on a permanent contract.
Reporting to Laurent, you will join a dynamic and multicultural team that drives innovative, high-impact projects for our organization and clients worldwide.
This position can be based in one of our European agencies, with at least 3 days per week in Paris Head Office.
You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of the Industrials & Commodities Product Management team.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Your mission is to define and implement the vision and roadmap to monetize our data and enable new services, aligned with the Product Lines business strategy, focusing on asset performance management for the energy sector, ensuring accelerate revenue growth and strengthen BV’s market leadership in data‑driven services. Your role is essential to enhance client value through innovative, data‑centric solutions.
You will:
• Define and implement the vision and roadmap to monetize our data and enable new services, aligned with Product Lines business strategy, with a focus on asset performance management services within the energy businesses
• Support Industrials and Commodities Product Lines in the definition and delivery of new services leveraging data, AI and new technologies
• Implement governance and processes to ensure data quality, consistency, availability and compliance with BV & external policies and with market standards
• Steer the development of digital products enabling services, either internally or through partnerships with solutions providers
• Embed innovation, leveraging data, AI and new technologies in our developments
• Monitor innovative trends, competitive landscape and market needs within Industrials & Commodities markets
THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
Strong experience in developing or implementing asset performance management solution, preferably in the energy sector — Enables you to lead the creation of high‑impact performance tools that meet energy‑sector client needs.
Experience in defining and implementing data strategy and governance — Allows you to establish robust data frameworks that ensure quality, security and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership — Helps you inspire and guide cross‑functional teams to deliver complex digital initiatives on time.
Initiative — Drives proactive identification of opportunities and rapid response to market changes.
Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams — Ensures seamless coordination between product, engineering, sales and client services.
End‑user and customer centric — Guarantees that solutions are designed with the client’s operational reality in mind, increasing adoption and satisfaction.
Excellent proficiency in English — Enables effective communication with international teams, clients and partners.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
You hold a degree from an engineering or business school.
You have at least 15 years of experience in defining, developing and implementing digital solutions leveraging data, AI and new technologies within industrial, digital solutions provider or consulting environments, ideally with a strong interest in data‑driven services for the energy sector.
