As part of a global and strategic product environment, we are recruiting for our Bureau Veritas Oil&Gas OPEX Division a Global NDT Product Lead – Oil & Gas (F-M-D) on a permanent contract.

Reporting to Andrea, the Product Portfolio O&G OPEX & Late Life Director, you will join a team of experts.

The position can be based at one of our European agencies.

You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of global Oil & Gas inspection and advanced NDT transformation.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

 

Your mission is to lead the strategic development, modernization and lifecycle management of the Oil & Gas Inspection product portfolio, ensuring the transition to standardized, digital, technology-enabled Advanced NDT solutions. Your role is essential to drive global differentiation, scalability, and operational excellence.

  • Define the global strategy, roadmap and portfolio priorities while benchmarking market, competition and customer needs and ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the transformation from paper-based inspection to digital workflows and monitor the adoption of advanced, conventional and emerging NDT technologies.
  • Build global master checklists aligned with digital data models ensuring consistency, local adaptability and interoperability across platforms.
  • Develop and continuously update global SOPs and create scalable training programs for NDT personnel covering field data capture, checklist usage and digital reporting.
  • Build expert networks and drive operational excellence by increasing productivity through technology adoption, standardized workflows and report automation, while optimizing cost and resources.
  • Ensure strong financial performance through cost control, efficiency improvements and continuous margin optimization.
  • Drive differentiation and growth by developing data-based value-added services, supporting commercial teams, and collaborating globally to promote innovation, best practices and service excellence.

 

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

 

Expert knowledge of NDT techniques and international codes (ASME, API, ISO) — Enables you to design compliant, high-quality inspection solutions aligned with global regulatory frameworks.

ASNT / PCN / CSWIP Level III certification — Allows you to validate complex methodologies and ensure technical authority across global operations.

Hands-on experience with Conventional and Advanced NDT methods — Helps you define fit-for-purpose inspection strategies for critical assets and complex environments.

Expertise in emerging NDT technologies (drones, robotics, automated scanners) — Ensures you drive innovation and significantly improve field productivity and safety.

Strong understanding of digital reporting, data models and inspection workflows — Enables you to structure scalable, interoperable digital solutions and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Product management and industrialization experience in TIC or industrial services — Allows you to structure, standardize and scale global service offerings efficiently.

Leadership, stakeholder management and change management skills — Ensures alignment across global teams and successful adoption of transformation initiatives.

 

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

 

You hold an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Materials or related discipline), ideally complemented by a specialization in NDT or Asset Integrity. You have at least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas covering Conventional and Advanced NDT, Inspection, or Asset Integrity, with proven exposure to global projects and digital transformation initiatives.
