As part of a global transformation of digital, asset-centric OPEX solutions, we are recruiting for our Bureau Veritas Oil & Gas OPEX division a Global Technical Lead – Emissions Mitigation (F-M-D) on a permanent contract.

 

Reporting to Andrea, the Product Portfolio O&G OPEX & Late Life Director, you will join a team of experts. This position is based in one of our European agencies

 

You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of MRV inventory, fugitive emissions, venting, stationary combustion, flaring, site-level services, continuous monitoring, reconciliation, innovative services, and advisory.

 

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

 

Your mission is to lead the strategic development, modernization, scaling, and lifecycle management of Bureau Veritas’ Oil & Gas Emissions Mitigation portfolio, ensuring scalable, innovative, and data-driven solutions aligned with market trends and regulatory expectations. Your role is essential to strengthen Bureau Veritas’ leadership, field productivity, differentiation, and growth in Emissions Mitigation services.

 

 

You will:

 

  • Define the global strategy and roadmap for the Emissions Mitigation portfolio, including source-level, site-level, continuous emissions monitoring, reconciliation, and advisory services
  • Develop, update, and deploy global SOPs, training curricula, and video tutorials for all levels of service delivery across the portfolio
  • Represent Bureau Veritas in international standardization, institutional, research, and industry working groups to anticipate trends and position the company as a technical leader
  • Lead innovation and R&D initiatives, including scouting, piloting, and validating new technologies, methods, and service solutions
  • Drive operational excellence by increasing field productivity, standardizing workflows, improving methodologies, automating reporting, and optimizing resource utilization
  • Build the foundation for emissions intelligence and data-based value-added services, including dashboards, continuous monitoring data integration, reconciliation, AI, and data analytics
  • Support differentiation and growth by partnering with sales, marketing, operations, IT, regional teams, and external technology providers to develop value propositions and advisory offerings

 

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

 

Emissions Mitigation Expertise — You bring strong knowledge of MRV inventory, source-level and site-level services, reconciliation, continuous emissions monitoring, fugitive emissions, venting, flaring, and advisory

 

Regulatory & Standards Knowledge — You understand key frameworks and methods such as OGMP 2.0, EU Methane Emissions Regulation, EN15446, EPA Method 21, and international standardization activities

 

Product Strategy & Innovation — You know how to build roadmaps, benchmark markets, pilot new solutions, industrialize services, and anticipate emerging trends in emissions mitigation

 

Digital & Data-Driven Solutions — You understand emissions data management, digital workflows, data models, dashboards, AI-supported analytics, and continuous monitoring data integration

 

Operational Excellence — You can improve field productivity, reduce inspection and reporting time, standardize workflows, automate reporting, and drive margin performance

 

Leadership & Stakeholder Management — You are able to lead cross-functional, multicultural teams and collaborate with global product teams, operations, IT, sales, marketing, regional leadership, and external partners

 

Communication & Commercial Awareness — You communicate with impact, represent technical expertise externally, support business development, and contribute to value propositions, pricing, and sales enablement

 

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

 

You hold a degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or a related discipline, from an engineering school.

 

You have at least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, project or product management in TIC or industrial services, digital solution deployment, global stakeholder management, and complex project delivery, ideally with a strong interest in Methane Emissions Mitigation, emissions data management, and innovative advisory services.
