As part of our global expansion in Carbon & Climate Services, we are recruiting for our Bureau Veritas Buildings & Infrastructure division a Head of Sustainability Services (F-M-D) on a permanent contract.

Reporting to the Global Carbon & Climate Services Director, you will join a team of experts. The position is based in Paris, with the possibility of being based in one of our European agencies.

You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of expanding BV's product portfolio around Energy Performance, Sustainability strategy, Green Building certification & Climate Resilience.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Your mission is to lead the development and expansion of sustainability services for the Buildings & Infrastructure sector, ensuring consistent delivery and growth across all regions. Your role is essential to positioning Bureau Veritas as a leader in sustainable building solutions.

You will:

• Drive cross-Product Line cooperation to deploy Group strategy while leveraging B&I expertise, resources and initiatives
• Develop and expand the sustainability service portfolio covering energy audits, green building certification, decarbonization strategies and climate resilience for the B&I sector
• Enable sales excellence through market intelligence analysis, Go-to-Market strategy design, marketing content creation, and active engagement on key opportunities and client strategies
• Build internal capacity by developing training programs, technical procedures and materials that ensure robust scaling and consistent delivery of sustainability services globally
• Lead thought leadership initiatives to position BV services externally as the reference in sustainable building solutions
• Extend scope into fast-growing markets such as datacentres, ensuring consistent growth and service adaptation
• Coordinate global engagement by supporting the BV network on all B&I sustainability service questions and ensuring optimized performance
• Drive digital transformation through direct contribution to innovative digital solution implementation across the portfolio
• Optimize M&A integration by ensuring robust delivery of acquisitions worldwide and contributing to due diligences
• Manage strategic partnerships including Blue Dot Network, Buildings Resilience Index and Fast-Infra, while assessing new partnership opportunities

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

You hold a diploma or degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Building Systems Engineering, Energy Management) from an engineering or technical school.

You have 8  years of proven experience in Sustainability Services for Buildings, ideally with strong knowledge of green building certifications (LEED, EDGE, BREEAM) and familiarity with building systems, HVAC, lighting, and energy-related technologies.

You are fluent in English (verbal and written); French is a plus.
