As part of a global governance framework for International Competence Centers, we are recruiting for our Certification Global Business Line a ICC Governance Manager (F-M-D) on a permanent contract (CDI).
Reporting to Laurent, Director of the Sustainability Projects Operations, you will join our team based in Paris, France.

The position can be based in Europe – at one of our European agencies.

You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of Certification GBL Operations Excellence.

 

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

 

Your mission is to design, implement and supervise the governance framework for Bureau Veritas International Competence Centers worldwide, ensuring enhanced financial performance, improved customer service and reduced operational risk across 80+ countries. Your role is essential to align ICC operations with corporate strategy and deliver measurable value.

 

You will:

  • Review and rationalise the footprint of Bureau Veritas Certification International Competence Centers and Critical Locations to improve financial performance and customer service delivery.
  • Propose and pilot new financial models for ICCs, ensuring sustainable P&L management across the global network.
  • Define and implement operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for ICC and Country performance, tracking improvements in overall operational efficiency.
  • Lead the Global Governance Framework: develop governance policies, facilitate committees, and act as the principal contact between ICC leaders and senior management across 80 + countries.
  • Support transformation initiatives within the Certification business to enhance competitiveness and operational value.

  • P&L Management Experience – You have successfully managed profit‑and‑loss responsibilities for complex, multinational operations, driving cost optimisation and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated Leadership & Influencing Skills – You inspire confidence, guide multidisciplinary teams, and influence senior stakeholders across 80 + countries without direct authority.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills – You connect and engage diverse stakeholders, building trusted relationships in multicultural environments.
  • Solution‑Oriented Mindset – You approach challenges creatively, delivering pragmatic, business‑focused solutions that improve operational performance.
  • Strong Analytical Skills Coupled with a Business Mindset – You interpret financial and performance data, turning insights into actionable strategies that align with corporate objectives.
  • Certification Business Knowledge – You understand the certification sector’s specific regulations, processes, and market dynamics, enabling you to tailor governance frameworks effectively.
  • Lean Business Transformation Experience  – You have led transformation projects, applying Lean or Six‑Sigma principles to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement.

 

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

 

You have a minimum of 10years of professional experience in governance, compliance or international operations management, coupled with a strong expertise in the Certification domain.

Salary: Fixed (base) salary plus performance‑based variable component
