Elevator Inspector

• Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Elevator Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, witnessing tests, assessing compliance with applicable codes and standards, and preparing technical reports for elevators, escalators, and moving walks. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

• Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of elevators, escalators, and moving walks in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
• Witness safety and performance tests, including load tests and commissioning activities.
• Identify non-conformities, safety hazards, and compliance issues, and provide technical recommendations.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and OEM teams regarding inspection activities and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, EN 81 standards and other international standards.
• Support business development activities and maintain strong client relationships.

• Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in elevator installation, maintenance, modernization, testing, or inspection.
• Strong knowledge of elevator safety systems and applicable standards (EN 81, ISO, local regulations, etc.).
• Experience with major elevator manufacturers such as Otis, Schindler, KONE, TK Elevator and Mitsubishi.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
