Financial Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Expert to support the financial management activities of a railway infrastructure project. The expert will assist in financial planning, disbursement processes, project accounting, audits, and financial reporting in accordance with the Finance Documents and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the preparation and regular update of the Annual Disbursement Plan based on the project cash flow forecast.

Assist in preparing and submitting disbursement requests to the project lenders.

Provide training to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) on disbursement procedures and financial documentation.

Support the preparation and management of Project Accounts.

Coordinate and facilitate project financial audits and follow up on audit findings.

Prepare financial inputs for Quarterly Progress Reports and other required reports under the Finance Agreements.

Monitor project expenditures and prepare financial projections for the upcoming six months.

Required Qualifications:

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management, preferably in large infrastructure or public works projects.

Experience working on projects financed by Multilateral Development Banks is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of financial procedures related to construction or infrastructure projects.

Experience in preparing disbursement applications, project accounts, and financial reports.
