Position Overview
The MCA Opportunity Engagement Committee (OEC) Coordinator is responsible for managing and facilitating the structured review process for business opportunities across the Middle East, Caspian, and Africa (MCA) region. This role ensures all opportunities meeting defined criteria are evaluated against risk criteria—including scope, compliance, technical, financial, and contractual aspects—before proposals are submitted to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting Management & Facilitation
- Conduct OEC TEAMS meetings at pre-scheduled frequencies throughout the year
- Pre-schedule meetings for the full year at agreed intervals with all permanent OEC members and Area representatives
- Distribute MCA OEC Agenda 1 day before each scheduled meeting
- Review submitted opportunities through Salesforce
- Verify all required documentation is loaded in Salesforce before review
- Issue minutes of meeting and recommendations sheets documenting OEC feedback for team to address
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Area OEC point of contact and Area Sales Leaders
- Inform relevant stakeholders of meeting schedules and submission requirements
- Provide MCA OEC process guidance
Monitoring, Tracking & Documentation
- Monitor all opportunities that have progressed through Area and MCA OECs
- Track recommendations closing actions and required approvals
- Upload OEC conclusions and monitoring records to Salesforce for audit trail and record-keeping
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and escalate breaches as quality incidents
- Provide required support to team members with respect to process compliance
- Flag non-compliance when recommendations are not implemented

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating across multiple stakeholders and regions
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous documentation and verification of submissions and compliance requirements
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and maintain accurate records
Technical Skills
- Salesforce Proficiency: Advanced experience with Salesforce, including workflow management, file uploads, and approval tracking
- Microsoft: Proficiency in using MS applications.
- Document Management: Competency in handling complex contractual and technical documentation
Interpersonal Skills
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams (Sales, Product Lines, Legal, Finance, TIQ, Compliance)
- Leadership & Facilitation: Capable of leading meetings and driving consensus among senior-level participants
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving submission issues and timeline conflicts
- Professionalism: Maintains confidentiality and adheres to company governance standards
Working Conditions & Requirements
- Travel: Minimal travel; primarily office-based with virtual meeting participation
- Languages: Fluency in English required; additional regional languages (Arabic, French) beneficial
- Availability: Must accommodate MCA region time zones and pre-scheduled weekly meeting commitments
- Compliance: Must comply with Bureau Veritas Group QHSSE policies and regional procedures
