Would you like to apply your accounting skills within an international group and grow within a structured, demanding, and stimulating environment?

Join our Marine & Offshore Accounting Shared Services Center (SSC), based in Lyon – Champagne-au-Mont-d’Or (France).

As part of a dynamic team working in close collaboration with our accounting teams based in India, you will actively contribute to the accounting, tax, and reporting activities that support the financial steering of the division.

What You Will Do and Learn

Under the supervision of the General Accounting Manager, you will be a full member of the Accounting Shared Services Center and contribute to the following activities:

• Record day-to-day accounting operations (treasury, payroll, fixed assets, etc.)
• Take part in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Contribute to the analysis, review, and justification of subsidiary accounts (updating review files)
• Prepare tax and social declarations (VAT, URSSAF, CET, C3S, TVS)
• Contribute to quarterly consolidation reporting under IFRS standards (Magnitude tool – Group Consolidation)
• Draft and update standard operating procedures
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Monitor regulatory developments in accounting and taxation

You will work closely with Accounting Managers, Financial Controllers, and members of the Accounting SSC based in India, in an international and multicultural environment.

Why This Apprenticeship Is for You

• You are currently pursuing a degree in accounting at Bac+2 to Bac+3 level (BTS CG, BUT GEA, Licence / Licence pro CCA, DCG, or equivalent).
• You have a solid foundation in general accounting.
• You ideally have initial experience (internship or previous apprenticeship) using an accounting software; knowledge of JD Edwards is appreciated.
• You are proficient in office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• You demonstrate rigor, organization, autonomy, proactivity, and critical thinking.
• You enjoy teamwork and are comfortable in a multicultural environment.
• You have a good command of English, both written and spoken, to interact effectively with our international teams.
