About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Lead to support a major industrial construction project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role will provide quality leadership throughout construction, turnover, and commissioning phases while ensuring contractor compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will work closely with construction, engineering, commissioning, procurement, and contractor teams to drive quality performance and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support construction quality activities across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality plans and site quality processes, using established templates while adapting documentation and workflows to the requirements of the work scope.
• Monitor contractor compliance with project specifications, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, quality documentation, test records, and turnover packages.
• Oversee material receipt, storage, handling, preservation, and asset protection activities.
• Support mechanical completion, system turnover, and commissioning readiness efforts.
• Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in field walkdowns, construction meetings, and readiness reviews.
• Communicate quality concerns, risks, and recommendations to project leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Construction Quality, QA/QC, Field Engineering, Construction Management, or related project execution roles.
• Experience supporting industrial, power generation, energy, manufacturing, petrochemical, infrastructure, or large commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction quality processes, inspections, turnover, punch list management, and documentation control.
• Experience working with contractors and multi-disciplinary construction teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with power generation, gas turbine, renewable energy, substation, BESS, or data center infrastructure projects.
• Experience working in an Owner, EPC, Contractor, or Construction Management environment.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, SharePoint, ACC, SmartPlant, or similar construction management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Industry certifications such as ASQ, CQE, CQM, AWS, AMPP/NACE, or NETA are an asset.
