Reports to: Lab Manager I

FLSA: Non-exempt

 

Hours Worked: Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week.

However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.

 

Compensation Range: $18 an hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).

 

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for coordinating the materials that will be used in the laboratory / work space for testing.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • It is everyone’s responsibility to live out our Values and Absolutes by Shaping a World of Trust while Unwrapping and handling materials.
  • Hand stack bagged product onto pallets or load into Gaylord boxes from development line packing discharge conveyor.
  • Responsible for filling, weighing, capping/sealing
  • Labeling of product containers in compliance with batch record specifications
  • Packing product into appropriate bulk or kit boxes
  • Assembling and shipment of  required product, instructions, and protection. 
  • Inspection and documentation of products for defects and sorting, counting and collating various products
  • Operate warehouse equipment. Band, weigh, and load bales onto staged trailer for shipping.
  • Maintain appropriate housekeeping, record keeping, and notation in working areas.
  • Work safely in an industrial and lab type environment while wearing appropriate PPE
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills & Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and possess ability to learn any new software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills for success in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
