What You Will Do and Learn
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will actively participate in the certification of offshore structures:
- Contribute to feasibility reviews and project certification.
- Perform document reviews of structural reports.
- Conduct independent calculations: finite element analysis (FEA), regulatory analytical calculations, and strength of materials.
- Support the development of calculation methods and procedures for offshore wind turbines.
- Review technical annexes: material specifications, welding, corrosion protection, etc.
You will work on a variety of units, including:
- Floating wind turbines and fixed jacket structures
- Marine Renewable Energy (MRE) systems: floating solar panels, tidal turbines, and hydrokinetic devices
- Port and offshore oil & gas infrastructure
- Fish farms and anchoring systems
