We are looking for a Hydrodynamics & Floating Wind Mooring Engineer (F/H) to join our Head Office located in La Défense (Paris area).

 

Join a dynamic team: Within the Design Assessment Department of our Technical Directorate, you will join the team in charge of hydrodynamics and mooring topics.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Carry out technical studies on international offshore projects and floating wind farms, including:
    • Hydrodynamic and mooring calculations using our technical software tools (HydroStar, Ariane, etc.)
    • Coupled hydro-aero calculations for floating wind projects
  • Review and assess the technical compliance of assigned projects with applicable regulations and rules
  • Interact with project teams and clients to achieve optimized design solutions
  • Provide technical support on your areas of expertise to our internal network, including operational and commercial teams
  • Contribute to the development and validation of Bureau Veritas rules and technical tools

 

Your strengths to succeed:

  • With a background in naval architecture or marine engineering, you are looking to build a technical career with concrete applications in the fields of marine renewable energies, offshore wind, and offshore engineering.
  • You have knowledge in hydrodynamics and mooring systems and ideally a first professional experience in these areas.
  • You demonstrate strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • You are rigorous, curious, and a strong team player, eager to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Your good level of English enables you to communicate effectively with our international network and clients, both orally and in writing.
  • You are motivated to evolve in a fast-changing environment with many challenges, particularly related to renewable energies.
