Join our teams! We are looking for a Marine Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at our headquarters located in La Défense (92).
Join a dynamic team: Within our Technical Department, you will join a team specialized in reviewing the design of electrical installations and equipment on board ships.
Your main responsibilities:
- Plan analysis and validation: You will examine electrical and automation plans for ships and offshore installations built in France and abroad. You will be in direct contact with design offices and shipyards.
- Technical studies: You will conduct in-depth technical studies to ensure the compliance and performance of electrical installations.
- Support and training: You will provide assistance to Bureau Veritas networks, supporting field experts and local plan approval offices. You will also participate in training activities.
- Regulatory development: You will actively contribute to the development and improvement of Bureau Veritas regulations, incorporating the latest innovations and sector requirements.
Your strengths for success:
- Education and experience: You hold a degree from an engineering school or a higher technical education program specialized in electricity. You have significant experience in shipbuilding, the offshore industry, or as an officer in the merchant navy or national navy. Your skills cover the fields of electrotechnics, automation, and electronics.
- Personal qualities: You demonstrate rigor, strong teamwork, autonomy, as well as analytical and synthesis skills. You are also comfortable with reporting.
- Language skills: Your proficiency in English allows you to communicate effectively with our clients, teams, and international network. You are also willing to travel occasionally abroad.
