We are looking for a Plan Approval Surveyor – Marine Electrical Systems (F/M) to join our Head Office located in La Défense (Paris area).
Join a dynamic team: Within our Technical Department, you will join a specialized team responsible for design review of electrical installations and equipment onboard ships.
Your main responsibilities:
Your role is to ensure compliance of the following equipment according to regulations (IEC, ISO, Bureau Veritas regulations):
- Electrical equipment (circuit breakers, cables, switchboards, etc.)
- Automation systems (industrial controllers, instrumentation, etc.)
- Navigation equipment
You will also draft compliance certificates for this equipment, ensuring their compliance with applicable standards.
Based on your expertise, you may subsequently be called upon to provide technical support to our internal network, including operational and commercial teams.
Through your participation in large-scale and innovative projects, you will contribute to the adoption of more sustainable maritime technologies and to reducing the environmental impact of the maritime industry.
Your strengths to succeed:
- Education and Experience: You hold a degree from an engineering school or advanced technical curriculum specialized in electrical engineering, with knowledge in electrical engineering and automation. You have initial experience, ideally in the maritime industry, in the fields of energy production, storage, or industrial risk management.
- Personal Qualities: You demonstrate rigor, strong teamwork spirit, autonomy, as well as analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Language Skills: Your mastery of English enables you to communicate effectively with our clients, teams, and international network.
You are proficient with computer tools and demonstrate strong writing and interpersonal skills.
You are also ready to undertake occasional business travel abroad.
