Are you looking to evolve at the heart of technological challenges related to alternative fuels and new maritime technologies? Join our Gas & New Technologies team and play a key role in the management of complex international projects.
Join a dynamic team: Reporting to the Gas & New technologies Team Director, you will operate within a matrix organization and collaborate with multiple technical and operational teams worldwide.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to new construction centers during contract review, project preparation, and project execution
- Act as project coordinator for complex projects, in support of the assigned Project Leader: mobilize and coordinate a team of experts from the network, ensure contract management in specific cases, and consolidate multi-site, multi-country project follow-up
- Supervise Project Leaders in specific cases requiring increased monitoring
- Perform theoretical training at RTC and ensure practical tutoring completion of surveyors when local tutors are not available
- Participate in the internal auditing program of new construction survey centers
- Follow up on significant QHSE anomalies related to new construction survey activity, as reported to Head Office
- Contribute to new construction training development, survey procedures, and regulatory monitoring (IMO, IACS, etc.)
- Coordinate technical studies, such as Joint Development Projects or technical Due Diligence on Gas & New Technologies topics
Your profile:
Education and experience:
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with at least 10 years of professional experience including significant expertise in project management, during construction or operation of facilities
- Recognized experience in the maritime industry or with various types of vessels: Gas Carriers, Container Ships, Tankers, Bulk Carriers, etc.
- Knowledge of complex projects: alternative fuels, multiple stakeholders, regulatory frameworks
- Field experience as a surveyor and/or as project coordinator / site manager
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment
Personal skills :
- You demonstrate strong leadership, coordination skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a multicultural and matrix environment.
Languages:
- English is mandatory; French is a bonus
