Join us as a Project Manager - Structural Analysis Software for Ships.
Join a dynamic team: Within the Development Department of our Technical Division, you will be part of a committed team focused on creating and improving scientific software dedicated to structural analysis. These tools are essential for ensuring the classification of ships and offshore units in compliance with applicable regulations.
Collaborating with experts, you will contribute to the development of software solutions that verify the compliance of ship designs while meeting safety and performance requirements.
Your main responsibilities:
· Gather user requirements from naval architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders.
· Draft detailed functional specifications for the development of new features.
· Perform tests and validate software updates, ensuring they meet user expectations and regulatory requirements.
· Organize and lead meetings with the development team to prioritize and plan the release of different software versions.
· Provide training and technical support to internal users as well as external clients (engineering firms, shipyards, etc.).
Your strengths for success:
· Education and technical expertise: You hold a degree in naval architecture or structural engineering, with solid experience in mechanics, material resistance, or structural analysis in the naval field.
· Knowledge of regulations and tools: Proficiency in ship classification regulations and Bureau Veritas software (Mars, Veristar Hull, Steel, etc.) would be a valuable asset.
· Passion for technical challenges: You have a strong interest in technical subjects and enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
· Excellent communication skills: Your interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively with subject matter experts and software users.
· Fluency in English: You can communicate confidently with clients, colleagues, and our international network.
