Job Title: HR Coordinator
About the Role
Bureau Veritas Qatar is seeking a proactive and organized HR Coordinator to join our HR team in Doha. The successful candidate will support a wide range of HR activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including document preparation, employee records management, and induction coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, HR databases, and personnel records.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding administration.
- Assist in processing employee requests related to leave, attendance, benefits, and HR documentation.
- Ensure HR records and processes are maintained in compliance with Qatar Labour Law and company policies.
- Coordinate training programs, employee communications, and HR-related events.
- Support payroll preparation by ensuring timely and accurate submission of employee data and HR transactions.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and administrative documentation for management and stakeholders.
- Liaise with government authorities and external service providers regarding visas, medicals, and other employee-related requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of HR administration or HR coordination experience.
- Previous experience working in the Qatar market is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee records management, and HR administration.
- Familiarity with Qatar Labour Law and local employment practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
