Senior Inspector - Piping & Welding

Project Duration: Fixed Term - (Extendable)

Project Base: Onshore 

Qualification:

• Minimum 10+ years in piping and welding inspection
• 5+ years as Piping/Welding Supervisor or Lead Inspector role
• Proven experience under DNV standards and subsea fabrication
• Experience with subsea components – risers, spools, sleepers, bridges
• Fabrication surveillance experience in yard or shop environment
• Brownfield and modification work experience preferred
• Experience with NDT coordination (RT, UT, PT, ET)
• Familiarity with offshore/subsea projects and installation procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fabrication Surveillance @ QSTS yard for the Subsea and Brownfield scope (Subsea Bridges / Subsea Sleepers / Riser stalkon and spools /subsea spool and riser / shrouds / brownfiled / HUC piping /Module brownfield / Installation aids).
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of piping systems, welded joints, and pressure equipment according to applicable codes and standards.
• Verify welding quality through visual inspection, documentation review, and coordination with NDT (non-destructive testing) personnel
• Materials and components for compliance with specifications before installation
• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests on piping systems and document results
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications throughout fabrication and installation phases
