Bureau Veritas International is seeking an experienced Senior Inspector - QA/QC Multi Discipline  to join our growing Inspection Services team. In this critical role, you will evaluate radiographic films, assess weld quality, and ensure compliance with international standards. Your expertise will support major industrial projects across manufacturing, construction, and infrastructure sectors.

 

 

Educational Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
  • Relevant certifications in Quality Management, Inspection, or Construction Quality Control are preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within construction, oil & gas, industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in mechanical welding inspections within the oil and gas industry.
  • CSWIP 3.2.2 Certified & BGAS Gr.2/Nace Level 2 certified
  • Certification in API 570/510/653
  • Qualified ISO 9712 / ASNT, PCN, or equivalent NDT Level Il in RT, UT, MT and PT
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in mechanical welding inspections within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and ISO standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Gulf Experience is preferable.
  • Previous work experience in Qatar is desirable but not mandatory.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, quality management systems, and inspection methodologies.
  • Ability to review material inspection reports, test certificates, calibration certificates, and quality records.
  • Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and applicable standards.
  • Proficiency in preparing inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), punch lists, and corrective action reports.
  • Familiarity with project documentation control systems.

 

Skills

 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and third-party inspectors.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and quality management software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously.
