Role Purpose

The TIQ (Technical, Integrity & Quality) & Performance Representative is responsible for driving the technical quality, integrity, and operational performance across Bureau Veritas Qatar to improve client experience while protecting Bureau Veritas’ LTO portfolio, brand, image, and assets. The role acts as the local custodian of the TIQ framework, ensuring that quality and technical standards are consistently applied across business lines, while providing the performance reporting and analysis that enables leadership to make informed decisions. The role is highly cross-functional, working closely with business and product line leaders, operations teams, and the regional TIQ function.

Key Responsibilities

Technical, Integrity & Quality (TIQ)

  • Act as the local focal point for the TIQ framework, ensuring technical quality and integrity standards are embedded across all Qatar business lines.
  • Coordinate and monitor internal surveillance audits, and accreditation requirements, ensuring timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
  • Support compliance with Bureau Veritas Group quality procedures, accreditation bodies, and applicable international standards.
  • Maintain quality records,  and integrity registers, ensuring data accuracy and audit-readiness.
  • Liaise with the area TIQ function to align local practice with Group and regional requirements.
  • Prepare and report TIQ performance on a monthly and quarterly basis, including management system performance, audit results, risks, opportunities and KPIs.
  • Monitor, analyze and consolidate TIQ-related performance data across entities and ensure its accuracy and consistency.
  • Manages the portfolio of licenses to operate, ensuring the LTO database is kept up to date.

 

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyse operational and performance data across business and product lines to produce accurate, timely performance reports and dashboards.
  • Prepare and present KPI reporting for leadership and business reviews, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Work with business and product line leaders to ensure performance data is provided accurately and on schedule.
  • Identify performance gaps and support the development and tracking of improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to business reviews, management reporting cycles, and continuous improvement programmes.

Stakeholder & Process Coordination

  • Build effective working relationships across operations, technical, and leadership teams to secure engagement and timely input.
  • Support process standardisation and the roll-out of Group and regional initiatives within the Qatar operation.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the TIQ Manager and local leadership as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a quality, technical coordination, performance, or operations support role, ideally within a Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) or industrial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17065) is highly desirable.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience preparing management-level reports and presentations.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Well organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
