This role is designed to position Bureau Veritas Fuels as a market leader in low carbon and renewable fuels services by combining strategic business development with deep technical expertise. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth through key account management, expand service offerings in emerging biofuels and synthetic fuel markets, and ensure operational excellence across the global network.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Subject Matter Expertise – Feedstock & Biofuels
Manage the global Feedstock and renewables global network of local expert to push our Biofuels initiative.
Define a strategy to adapt our global offer to clients/market needs : locations, services, investment, pricing (take part of investment committee and engagement committee related to Biofuels).
Influence and participate in industry working group (like the Energy Institute)
Take the lead on key event participation and awareness: Argus conference, SAF symposium.
Follow Synthetic Fuel initiative – Hydrogen, And its potential derivatives or by product Amonia etc.
Business Development Renewal Fuels
Manage some Key accounts / initiatives on a global and or regional basis
Take the lead on some projects and specific teams with customers / desk
Follow strategic decision from customers down to chasing operations/jobs
Hunt for new opportunities, cross selling opportunities (OSL, traditional fuels, Marine fuels etc)
Manage and push for Global revenues reach
Operational Excellence
Work with Global Operation Excellence team to manage specific operational challenges on biofuels (inspection, testing)
Problem solving approach : help the network with their challenges on biofuels
Mange claims/complaints on biofuels specific
Set / revise SOP for biofuels
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related discipline
Minimum 8-10 years in Business development, account management or commercial roles within energy, fuels or related industrial sectors
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing strategic accounts with global scope
Knowledge of renewable fuels, biofuels or low-carbon energy markets (or equivalent transferable experience in complex technical B2B sectors)
Experience engaging with regulatory bodies, industry associations.
