Job Purpose

Contribute to deploy the Human Resources Policy and adapt the strategy to her/his scope of responsibility. Oversee some key HR practices for the MCA operating group

 

Main Responsibilities

Manages HR processes within its scope:

  • Annual salary review campaign: ensures compliance with budgets, consistency in the distribution of envelopes, insure internal equity and loyalty.
  • Annual review /development interviews/Annual objectives: deploys the processes, supports managers in preparing for interviews, ensures the implementation of the process within the allotted deadlines,
  • Training plan : Fix the guidelines, supports managers in constructing the training plan within the set deadlines.

Defines and implements career management and skills development:

  • Ensures the permanent adequacy of existing skills with the short and medium term needs of Bureau Veritas
  • Identifies mobility, development and training wishes and implements action plans
  • Manages talent reviews, defines succession plans and career plans in conjunction with the Regional leaders.

Manages the recruitment strategy for its scope :

  • Constructed with the Head of the region during the budget then follows the progress of the forecast hiring plans,
  • Carries out a recruitment interview for complex/key positions (such as regional leaders, operational managers…) within its scope in conjunction with the talent acquisition Manager or the recruitment officers,
  • Coordinates and monitors the on boarding process of new employees.

Deploys HR development programs :

  • Manages the various projects carried out each year such as career paths, Inclusion, Talents, disability, commitment, Internal opinion survey, Mentoring, etc.
  • Adapts, impacts and monitors HR projects and priorities.

Operational support :

  • Advise operational managers on employee development management actions,
  • Ensures the interface between shared services center and internal customers.

Provide support to operational managers :

  • Advises all managers about development plan, organisation design, changes management
  • Insure the connection between the different services within BV.

Ensures overall HR consistency within its scope: remuneration, positioning, classification, job description:

  • Pilots the cross-management of these subjects for an adjusted and relevant comp&ben policy,
  • Organizes and monitors developments to adapt this consistency.

Ensures compliance with social legislation and manages social relations within its scope:

  • Handles questions related to labor law,
  • Leads staff representative bodies,
  • Monitors the evolution of working conditions in the company,
  • Ensures the application of internal regulations and internal procedures,
  • Prevention/anticipation and management of alert rights, RPS, ethical cases,
  • Contributes to maintaining a stable social climate.

Ensures internal and external communication:

  • Communicates the HR policy, guarantees its application through the leadership teams within its scope,
  • Represents the employer brand and promotes it – is present on social networks.

Contributes to the exchange of information and know-how:

  • Fuels actions to capitalize and share knowledge (Knowledge Management, Academy, etc.),
  • Shares his HR operational experience in the implementation of National HR projects.

 

Educational Qualification

Master degree with specialization in Human Resources or Business management
