Job Purpose:
Bureau Veritas is seeking a dynamic and strategic PR Manager to lead and execute our public relations strategy across key markets in Middle East Caspian and Africa (MCA). This role will be pivotal in raising the profile of the Bureau Veritas brand, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent, clear, and engaging communication across all external channels. You will be responsible for developing and delivering proactive and reactive PR campaigns, managing press materials, and supporting our regions and product lines in their communication needs. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, promoting Bureau Veritas' leadership in sustainability, digital transformation, and quality assurance.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Communications strategies aligned with Bureau Veritas' brand positioning and objectives across multiple markets
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and media outlets across trade, business, and mainstream media
- Draft, review, and distribute press releases, media statements, and press materials that showcase BV's expertise and market leadership
- Local Thought Leadership creation.
- Monitor coverage and social media mentions of Bureau Veritas, providing timely responses to protect and enhance brand reputation
- Develop and execute integrated Communications campaigns supporting product launches, announcements, and strategic initiatives
- Provide Comms support for major Bureau Veritas events, conferences, and industry participation
- Track and report on Comms performance metrics including share of voice analysis, media sentiment, and coverage quality
- Arrange and Support Local Events
- Support crisis communication efforts by developing reactive messaging and coordinating media response strategies
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in communications, preferably in international B2B environments
- Strong media relations experience with established journalist networks
- Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to craft compelling narratives
- Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
- Knowledge of digital marketing integration and social media
- Ability to work across multiple markets and cultural contexts
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills for performance measurement
- Experience in ROI measurement and KPI development
- 5-10 years of Team Leadership Experience across international lines
- Proactive, agile and results-oriented, you know how to evolve in a multicultural environment.
