Regional Reward Manager - MCA

Position Overview
The Regional Reward Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing regional reward policy and process for Africa, Middle East and Caspian Sea Region in alignment with BV Group reward strategy, whilst ensuring compliance with local regulations and specificities.
This role is shared between several Operating Groups for the same geographies (54 countries) and works closely with Global Reward team and BV reward network, and with global and region/OG HR teams, to ensure that the company’s reward offer for the OG/Region is competitive, fair, and aligned with BV global strategy to ensure attractiveness, motivation and retention of employees
Key Accountability/Responsibilities:
Grading & Job architecture:
· Acts as the referent of the region/OG for the maintenance of Group grading and job architecture referential
· Manages job grading and mapping on region/OG scope, in cooperation with Talent teams (Role framework), to ensure all positions are correctly mapped and assessed
· Promote and animate job grading and mapping in HR function
· Participation in regular grading and jobs mapping reviews, in cooperation with Talent and Reward teams / network to ensure consistency across BV organization
Pay ranges & benchmarking (Salary, Bonus, LTI):
· Acts as the referent of the region/OG for the annual update of pay ranges done in cooperation with Global reward team
· Conduct market analysis (internal and external) to benchmark compensation and benefits against industry peers and competitors in the region
Reward Policies (Salary, Bonus, Benefits):
· Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs, including base salary, incentives, Bonus, equity, and perks ensuring compliance with Group standards and alignment with performance goals
· Actively seeks opportunities to enhance, harmonize, and leverage country-wide benefits harmonization projects whenever possible and relevant
· Collaborate with HR business partners to understand business needs and challenges, and design reward solutions to support talent acquisition, retention, and engagement.
· Support integration of new acquisitions by aligning pay, bonus and variable pay practices with BV policies
Reward campaigns (Salary, Bonus, LTI) & off-cycle:
· Acts as the referent of the region/OG for the annual budget definition (WSE)
· Leads the annual salary, bonus, LTI campaigns in their scope, in cooperation with HRIS and Global reward team to align regional programs with overall organizational strategy
· Oversee the annual compensation review process and bonus campaigns, including performance-based salary increases and promotions.
· Supports HRs and managers in out of cycle decisions (promotion/retention/market adjustment/gender equity) by providing reward analysis and guidance (external positioning, internal equity, best practices)
· Partner with the MCA finance team to ensure the right level of provisions (Bonus, salary incrementation, other benefits…), the follow-up of Personal cost variation, and to anticipate the monthly and quarterly closings
International Mobility:
· Ensure proposals and practices are in line with the Group's rules, policies, and Talent strategy
Pay Equity & Compliance:
· Conduct regular analysis to identify and address gender pay gaps, promoting pay equity and compliance with regulations (notably in EU)
· Develop transparent pay reporting processes and communication strategies to foster a culture of fairness
· Ensure full compliance of reward practices with all relevant labour laws and regulations across and / or propose & implement corrective actions plan to VP HR
Team management:
· Supervise and manage the MCA HR Team responsible for Payroll, HRIS, HR Data management, Benefits
· Work closely with other HR MCA functions (Talent and Learning, PMO…) to provide support and reports.
Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management:
· Provide guidance and training to local HR teams on reward policies, practices and administration.
· Collaborate with global HR to communicate total rewards strategies and initiatives
· Lead regional deployment of new global reward initiatives and manage related projects to successful delivery
· Represents the region/OG in BV reward network. Regular, active participation in meetings to coordinate BV global practice and processes
· Deploy any new global Reward initiatives in coordination with HR function to align regional programs with overall organizational strategy, including but not limited to, rollout of global compensation structure or integration of acquired companies
· Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of assigned initiatives
Analytics:
· Develop reward KPI on region/OG scope to support reward practice efficiency and management
· Monitor and analyze compensation data, identifying trends and making recommendations for program improvements
Required Skills and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
· 5- 8 years of experience in total rewards management, preferably in a regional or global capacity in an international company
· Deep expertise and understanding of compensation and benefits best practices, as well as local labor laws and regulations
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and partner with business leaders (Project / stakeholder management)
· High degree of integrity and confidentiality with a keen financial & business acumen
· Autonomous, with convictions and a collaborative mindset. Vision and modernity for their profession, with the drive and resilience necessary to move projects forward
· Fluency in English (Proficiency in Arabic & French is preferable)
