Minimum Required Qualifications:
Specialty :Business Development within Certification & Accreditation Sector

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; a master's degree
 
Technical knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of the Certification and Inspecton industry, regulations, and procurement processes in the UAE and Oman


Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the Cetification sector with a strong track record of securing and managing contracts.

Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities:
1)
Mapping the Landscape:
a)
Identify and map out the relevant government agencies, national oil companies, and decision-makers that are crucial to the company's certification business operations in the UAE and Oman.
b)
Develop a deep understanding of the government and industry procurement processes, technical requirements, and decision-making structures.
2)
Relationship Building:
a)
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key individuals in procurement, technical, and decision-making roles within the government, national oil companies, and the broader certification and inspection industry.
b)
Consistently follow up with clients to keep them updated on the company's capabilities, industry trends, and project developments.
c)
Build long-term, collaborative relationships by being responsive, professional, and adaptable to the clients' needs.
3)
Client Management:
a)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the TIC sector, both in the public and private domains.
b)
Identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in the UAE and Oman.
c)
Collaborate with local partners or joint ventures that have a strong presence in the TIC sector to leverage their expertise and networks.
4)
Business Development:
a)
Demonstrate a proven track record of successful business development in the TIC industry, particularly in the UAE and Oman markets.
b) Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives and industry expertise.
c)
Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to position the company as a preferred partner for TIC projects.
d)
Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new contracts and expand the company's market share.
5)
Reporting and Coordination:
a)
Provide regular updates and reports on the business development activities, pipeline, and progress to the management team.
6)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
7) Maintain a close relationship with relevant Government Authorities pertinent to LTO (MOIAT, ESMA, EIAC, Various Municipalities)
8)
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills


Technical Expertise:
Key areas of technical expertise that would be most valuable for a this role should be on the oil & gas, power & utilities, and renewable energy sectors and specially on the certification and Inspection field


Business Requirements:
1)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
2)
Proficient in Arabic and English languages, both written and verbal.
3)
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
4)
Willingness to travel within the UAE and Oman as required.

Language Proficiency:
Fluent in Arabic and English languages, both written and verbal.

Customer Focus :
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
