Environmental and Social Specialist

Bureau Veritas is seeking experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professionals with a proven track record in managing HSE supervision on large-scale dam construction, hydropower, or major infrastructure projects, with at least 15 years of experience.

Location: Tajikistan

Mandatory requirements:

Experience in hydropower projects is a key requirement.

Experience working on projects financed by international financial institutions is mandatory.

Proven experience in leading HSE teams in complex environments involving multiple contractors.

Knowledge of World Bank HSE guidelines and Environmental and Social Standards (ESS2, ESS4) is considered an advantage.

Requirements:

Experience 10 years

Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field. Professional certification an advantage (e.g., IEMA or equivalent).

Fluent English

Job responsibilities:

Environmental and social specialists with demonstrated experience in construction-site E&S monitoring, including environmental and social compliance. Experience with World Bank ESF an advantage.
