Planning Specialist

Bureau Veritas Iraq is looking to hire Planning Specialist based in Erbil for an on-site position.

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project planning or scheduling in construction projects.
• Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure, building, or industrial projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, planning techniques, and earned value management.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Kurdish and English
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, procurement, and subcontractors to collect progress data.
•  Participate in project meetings and support decision-making with data-driven insights.
• Identify scheduling risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Support resource and cost loading in schedules to evaluate performance and productivity.
• Analyze construction sequencing to improve efficiency and avoid conflicts.
• To monitor the project performance activities.
• Monitor and check the day-to-day quality and quantity of works carried out under the contract.
• Review and comment on the EPC's program and such other programs and plans as are submitted by the EPC.
• Preparation of Project Procedures and Site Supervision Manua S.
• Ensure that the Project is implemented in accordance with Project Master Schedule and Budget.
• Preparation and submission of Inception report
