Project Manager

Bureau Veritas Iraq is currently looking to hire a Project Manager for an on-site position based in Erbil.

Job Overview:

The Project Manager consultant for a complex construction project, the primary role is to provide expert advisory service on the project execution, helping guide the client’s internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic planning and guidance.
• Advisory on resource and team management.
• Risk management and oversight.
• Client communication and reporting.
• Financial and contractual advisory.
• Quality assurance and regulatory Compliance.
• Team Leadership
• Reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale or complex construction projects.

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of project management and construction consultancy practices.
• Experience with large-scale or complex construction projects.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (such as MS Project, Primavera) and financial management systems.
• Deep knowledge of construction procedures, legal standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

• Primarily on-site presence with office-based reporting. The role may involve travel between sites and clients.
