Inspection, testing, and conformity assessment
Your overall focus will be the inspection, verification, and validation of pressure equipment towards PED 2014/68/EU and related industrial products against legislation and standards. You make documentation reviews as well as reports leading to certificates and always in high quality and in a timely manner.
Moreover you:
- Perform your work according to Bureau Veritas’ procedures for inspection, testing, and certification
- Continuously update training/experience within own field of services and accounts
- Develop relations and collaborate with clients and colleagues and seek new business
You will become part of the department in Fredericia or Esbjerg where you serve customers primarily in Denmark. Some travel activities within Europe can be expected. Furthermore, you will support on tasks between inspections and design verifications for our company’s customers. These tasks will be normally performed in close cooperation with the Technical Centre in Paris.
What will make you successful at Bureau Veritas?
You have a Mechanical Engineering degree, Bachelor in Technology Management, Marine Engineering or equivalent. Besides, you already have experience with pressure equipment and welding/NDT activities. Experience with European Legislation such as mainly PED 2014/68/EU is a plus. Experience with inspection and verification activities, and technical file review all through a thorough QA process will be an advantage.
You rely on a combination of your technical focus and sense of quality to deliver high-quality results and in a timely manner. You are a good team player and able to communicate clearly and convincingly across professional levels. You have an extrovert attitude and innovative mind, and you thrive in a changeable environment. Lastly, you have solid English skills.
