At Bureau Veritas, we believe in shaping a world of trust. As a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), we help our clients manage quality, safety, environmental performance and asset integrity throughout the entire lifecycle of industrial and energy projects.

To strengthen our Industry & Facilities division, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Energy. In this role, you will manage multidisciplinary verification, validation, inspection and certification projects within the energy and industrial sectors. Projects may involve hydrogen, natural gas, LNG, offshore wind, conventional energy, process installations, pipelines, pressure equipment, machinery and other critical infrastructure.

You will play a key role in helping clients deliver safe, compliant and future-proof projects while working alongside Bureau Veritas specialists across Europe and beyond.

Your role

As Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful delivery of complex technical projects and programs. From the proposal stage through execution and completion, you ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

You act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and oversee both the technical and commercial performance of your projects.

What will you do?

  • Lead verification, validation, inspection and certification projects within the energy and industrial sectors.
  • Analyse client requirements and develop project execution strategies and proposals.
  • Manage project scope, planning, resources, risks and budgets.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of technical specialists, inspectors and surveyors.
  • Act as the key interface between clients, Bureau Veritas experts and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, regulations and Bureau Veritas quality requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and report on milestones, performance and deliverables.
  • Negotiate scope changes, variation orders and commercial agreements where necessary.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and best practices across the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and long-term client partnerships.

What kind of projects can you expect?

Our project portfolio includes activities such as:

  • Verification and certification of energy infrastructure and industrial assets.
  • Pipeline integrity, re-certification and new-build projects.
  • Hydrogen, gas and LNG infrastructure developments.
  • Offshore and onshore renewable energy projects.
  • Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), ATEX and Machinery Directive compliance assessments.
  • Asset integrity and lifecycle management programs.
  • Inspection and certification programs for major industrial investments.
  • Large multidisciplinary projects involving international teams and stakeholders.

A recent example is a large-scale hydrogen transmission project involving pipeline re-certification, new-build infrastructure and substation verification. However, your role will span a broad range of projects across the evolving energy landscape.

What do you bring?

You combine strong project management skills with technical curiosity and commercial awareness. You feel comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and bringing specialists together to achieve common goals.

You have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience within energy, industrial, infrastructure or process industries.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Affinity with inspection, certification, validation or engineering services.
  • Knowledge of energy infrastructure, industrial installations, pipelines, pressure equipment or related assets.
  • Strong commercial and financial project management capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English. Danish is considered a plus.
  • A proactive, analytical and solution-oriented mindset.

What we offer

At Bureau Veritas, you'll join a global organisation where expertise, innovation and collaboration come together.

We offer:

  • The opportunity to work on technically challenging and high-impact energy projects.
  • Exposure to major developments in hydrogen, renewables, industrial decarbonisation and critical infrastructure.
  • Collaboration with leading experts across our international network.
  • Extensive opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Competitive employment conditions and attractive benefits.
  • Flexibility and autonomy in an international working environment.
  • A chance to contribute directly to the energy transition and a more sustainable future.
