Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate activities concerning technical services.  Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, providing direction to laboratory personnel.
  • Provide training, guidelines and technical consultation services and interpret results to users.
  • Conduct necessary centralized technical training to the network.
  • Carry out on-site technical audit.
  • Conduct report audit.  Create necessary laboratory performance data and resolution provided to the laboratory.
  • Support technical review of client program manuals and protocols.
  • Analyze industry research and development on best practices and benchmarking with regard to technical testing standard and assessment system for product testing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current regulations/ industry standards and products to be tested.
  • Provide technical assistance and operating support to other divisions/departments as needed; collaborate with the division/department managers in determining project priorities to establish work schedules and personnel assignments.

 

Job Requirements:

  • University degree with minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
  • With substantial operational and management knowledge and experience in laboratory industry.
  • Familiar with various testing method development tools
  • Proven success in analyzing situations and developing strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with management, business partners, clients and staff members.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin is preferable
