Compensation: $125,000 base salary + 10% annual performance bonus

Bureau Veritas seeks a Senior Analyst, M&A & Strategy to join our North American Growth Strategy & Corporate Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an M&A or strategic planning professional ready to transition into corporate M&A and strategic planning.
In this high-impact role, you'll support the execution of our 2028 Strategic Plan by identifying market opportunities, evaluating acquisition targets, and partnering with business leaders to accelerate growth across key sectors; including building & infrastructure, energy & renewables, and cybersecurity.
As part of our aggressive North American expansion, you'll gain hands-on exposure to executive leadership and direct involvement in strategic decisions that shape our company’s future while developing deeper M&A expertise in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business portfolio frameworks, strategic initiatives, and financial performance metrics to support short, medium, and long-term growth objectives.
- Partner with business unit leadership to define, refine, and execute growth strategies, including new market entry, capability expansion, and operational optimization.
- Support planning, execution, and performance tracking of the 2028 North American Strategic Plan.
- Lead and support special strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth industry and competitive research to identify organic growth opportunities and expansion into adjacent markets.
- Develop financial models and valuation analyses to assess acquisition targets and strategic investments.
- Support end-to-end M&A processes, including target screening, due diligence coordination, financial analysis, and integration planning.
- Prepare business cases, investment memoranda, and executive-level presentations for senior leadership review.
- Collaborate with North American leadership (e.g., CEO, CFO, General Counsel, Tax, and operational teams) to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Support development and management of the M&A pipeline, including engagement with potential acquisition targets.
- Perform additional strategic and analytical responsibilities as business priorities evolve.
- Involvement in the actual deal, integration, and back end implementation with be required.

Education, Certifications, and Experience (Required):

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, financial audit, investment banking, corporate finance/strategy/M&A, or related analytical roles.
Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research.
Prior exposure to corporate M&A or transformational projects or strategic plan, including transactions, due diligence, integration processes or involvement on strategy execution frameworks (OKR, 4DX, Balanced Scorecard, Hoshin Kanri, Management by Objectives, EOS, etc.)
