Training Center Manager

The Training Center Manager shall ensure that all training services that are rendered to clients are done in accordance with Bureau Veritas Certification procedures and processes to ensure that mandates for the training function are satisfied. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the training center which includes ensuring effective planning and delivery of all training courses across a multitude of business sectors (e.g. food safety, environmental, etc.). Additional responsibilities may include liaising with the relevant departments (including marketing and sales). The Training Center Manager shall ensure they maintain required internal credentials and ensures that all trainers maintain such credentials as well. A drive for continuous and systematic improvement within the department is also an expectation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works with the Business Unit Manager to ensure that the business development, management of all training courses and conformance to requirements of Bureau Veritas Training Program Partner (e.g. CER MS & CQI and IRCA).
  • Ensures that all Trainers hold required credentials, are authenticated and approved by the necessary groups within and outside Bureau Veritas and maintains required records of approvals.
  • Ensures that sales personnel are competent for the sale of training courses and are aware of training program requirements regarding training class offerings.
  • Manages end-to-end conduction of each training course.

SKills

  • Formal education completion (associate's degree), preferably a University Degree.
  • Competency in working on Computers and database applications.
  • Detailed knowledge of the requirements that are in place for training bodies that are related to their function.
  • Ability to understand the working of various computer applications and databases and have a working knowledge of them.
  • Work with certified/training parter training programs in the past is preferable (e.g. CQI-IRCA, BRCGS, SQFI, FSPCA, etc.)
