Hours Worked: Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week.
However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Position Summary:
The Molecular Biologist III (Analyst I) is responsible for providing flexible and adaptable support to the team. The candidate will perform a variety of laboratory assays and techniques-including cell culture, and molecular biology assays.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Routine cell culture of multiple cell lines simultaneously, including freezing, thawing, and seeding.
- Maintain and treat co-culture studies.
- Image cultured cells using numerous stains or probes.
- Perform a variety of screening assays including cell-based assays.
- Perform cell and tissue RNA isolation.
- Perform serial dilution treatment of various compounds.
- Tissue collection and isolation of DNA, RNA, or protein for analysis.
- Assist with department testing in other areas, providing direction, as required.
- Routine lab maintenance, upkeep, and supply management.
- Documentation of all studies through online notebooks.
- Provide flexible and adaptable support to team.
- Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required.
- Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc (BVCPS) Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Comply with clients and BVCPS management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
- Follows the guidelines set forth in by clients and the BVCPS Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System.
- Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload.
Skills & Proficiencies:

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field
- Familiarity with laboratory technology and instrumentation including centrifuges, and cell counters preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
Compensation Range: $25.00-$27.00 per hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset).
