Control System Inspector

Job Description

• B.E in Instrument/Electrical/Electronics and certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in control system inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
• Strong knowledge of DCS architecture (ABB / Emerson / Honeywell etc.), PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley), SCADA systems.
• Understanding of ESD / SIS systems, Logic diagrams, cause & effect, Interlocks and shutdown logic, FAT/SAT procedures. Basic knowledge of IEC 61511 / functional safety principles.
• Witness and verify FAT and SAT of control systems.
• Ensure correct integration between field instruments and control systems.
• Validate control loops and system functionality as per design.
• Witness ESD system functional testing.
• Verify cause & effect matrix implementation.
• Check trip signals, interlocks, and shutdown sequences.
• Ensure system response complies with safety philosophy and project requirements.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

• B.E Instrument/Electrical/Electronics
• Minimum 10 years of control system experience
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA
• Understanding of ESD/SIS systems and FAT/SAT

• Relevant project experience of O&G (project construction, QA/QC & Commissioning) is mandatory
• Candidate must have valid certificates – copy shall be provided along with CV.
