Deputy Manager - Industry 
Job Location: Karachi 

 

Role Statement 

  • Responsible for planning and organizing inspection related activities, reviewing reports, keeping track on market trend and handling customer complaints
  • The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Plan & organize the inspections.
  • Review and approve Technical reports.
  • Co-ordination with clients & inspectors for inspection.
  • Maintain the file records for completed job & contractor’s and verify invoices. 
  • Attend management meetings.
  • Protection of monthly revenues and expenses.
  • Execution of jobs as per plan by protecting margins.
  • Must have good skills in management of collection.
  • Any other job responsibilities as assigned by the N+1.

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
The following competencies are required;

  • Engineering degree and/or management related field. API 510, 570 or 653 certifications is an added advantage.
  • Min. 10 years of Experience in similar field. 
  • Excellent technical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Should have good leadership abilities and skills. 
  • Should have good reporting skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills. 
  • Familiar with Industry inspection codes, standards & practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Client, sub-contractors & colleagues.
  • Management of work under pressure with tight schedule and willing for team work.

 

KPIs (to be amended if necessary)

  • Perform & deliver as per commitment and client expectations. 
  • Error free data collection / Reporting.
  • Customer satisfaction feed back.
  • Unbiased decisions.
  • No breach of BV QHSSE Policies.
