Field Instrumentation Inspector

Job Description

• B.E in Instrument/Electrical/Electronics and certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in field instrumentation inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
• Knowledge of Instrument installation standards, Hook-up drawings and loop diagrams, P&IDs, basic calibration concepts. Familiar with field instrumentation (Pressure, temperature, flow, level instruments valves & positioners).
• Inspect installation of field instruments as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Witness and approve all the loop test in the field.
• Check tubing, impulse lines, and mechanical installation quality.
• Prepare daily inspection reports.
• Witness and verify field calibration and loop checking of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
• Review and approve calibration records, certificates, and reports to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

• B.E Instrument/Electrical/Electronics
• Minimum 10 years of instrumentation inspection experience
• Knowledge of loop testing, calibration, instruments
• Familiarity with P&IDs and installation standards

• Relevant project experience of O&G (project construction, QA/QC & Commissioning) is mandatory
• Candidate must have valid certificates – copy shall be provided along with CV.
