Inspection Manager

Position: Inspection Manager

QUALIFICATION:

• Professional Engineer.
• API 510, API 570, API 653, and API 580 certified.
• Knowledge or certification of API 571 and corrosion damage mechanisms.
• Knowledge or certification of welding inspections and coating inspections.

EXPERIENCE /COMPETENCES:

• 15 years’ related experience (i.e., in-service inspection).
• At least 5 years’ experience in the manager role (in-service inspections).
• At least 5 years with inspection of pressure systems (static equipment & piping), tanks, pipelines, & structures in the oil and gas industry.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manages policy, procedural, and legislative aspects of plant inspection across all company locations.
• Responsible for his and his team's safety. Ensure compliance with UEPL HSE & CSMS systems.
• Develop and implement inspection plans and TAR strategies.
• Plan and ensure the execution of inspections. Updates inspection programs accordingly.
• Management of NDT and TAR contractor services.
• Provides advice on inspection techniques.
• Maintains inspection results.
• Reviews all inspection findings, assesses, & reports anomalies.
• Prepares integrity statements, reviews, and updates procedures periodically.
• Conduct a biannual audit with contractor senior management to assess work practices, HSE compliance, training needs, and contractual compliance at field locations.
• Suggest improvement based on audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with UEPL procedures, HSE practices, & annual objectives.
• Conduct safety audits and SOC.
• Ensure housekeeping of concerned offices and workplaces.

Note:

• The candidate's final interview would be conducted by Client
• Job days are from Monday to Friday. And sitting would be in the Karachi Bureau Office or at the UEPL head office.
