Job Location: Karachi - Korangi 

 

1    Roles and responsibilities: ( Lab & Operation Coordinator )

Role Statement

 A senior inspector is a critical professional responsible for conducting on-site inspections, ensuring compliance, quality and safety standards across the industry.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

 Responsibilities would be as follows:

  • To conduct comprehensive communication.
  • To Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations and port authorities practices.
  • Prepare detailed inspection & lab reports with precise findings and recommendations
  • To Collaborate with management teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of inspection activities.
  • Manage administrative operations and support daily office functions.
  • Process and organize documentation and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems.

 

  • Assist in preparing E - Reports.
  • Provide customer service and respond to inquiries.
  • Adhere with the line manager’s instructions and work for continuous improvement.
  • Strict compliance with BV Pakistan’s code of ethics and protocols.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Number of successful inspections completed
  • Higher compliance rate
  • Report accuracy
  • Time management
  • Risk mitigation effectiveness

 

  • Bachelor’s/Masters in Geology / Chemical Technology or relevant field from recognized universities
  • Good knowledge of safety standards, technical guidelines, inspection methodologies and risk assessment techniques
  • Strong understanding of ISO/ASTM standards applied at different commodities
  • Proficiency in report writing and digital reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Physical fitness for field work
  • Strong intellectual capabilities and pay attention to every detail
