Job Title: Lab Chemist - Coal

Job Location: Karachi 

Role Statement:

Responsible for planning and organizing inspection related activities, preparation of quotations, keeping track on market trend and handling customer complaints.
The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing analysis working and sheets and other relevant information. Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Keeping himself updated with BV procedures, national and international standards of testing regulations and publications particularly related to Fuels. 
• To prepare coal samples as per the needs and requirements of Clients.
• Coal lab testing witnessing on Field sites.
• Respects security and safety guidelines of BV and safeguard personal safety & security in the working environment. 
• Quality of Work & Reporting – No complaints.
• Any other job responsibilities as assigned by the N+1.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
The following competencies are required;

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Chemistry/Geology.
• Both fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
• Probation period: 06 months.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
