Ultrasonic Testing (UT)/ Eddy Current Testing (ET)/ Radiographic Testing ( RT), Magnetic Particle Testing  (MT)/ PT / AE/ VT

Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities

Primary Functions

Lead and manage BV Pakistan’s NDT service line (conventional & advanced)

Establish and expand NDT capabilities aligned with market needs

Ensure development and approval of NDT procedures and inspection methodologies

Deliver high-quality inspection services in compliance with international standards

Drive operational excellence, project delivery, and client satisfaction

Support business growth by developing new service offerings

Technical Expertise

Act as the responsible Level III authority for all NDT activities in BV Pakistan.

 UT, ECT, RT, MT, PT, VT

Advanced NDT (PAUT, TOFD, MFL, Guided Wave Testing)

Heat exchanger tube inspection and integrity assessment

Codes & standards (ASME, API, ISO 9712, SNT-TC-1A)

Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures, techniques, and inspection plans

Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements

Provide technical support for complex inspections and failure investigations

Business Requirements

Support business development through technical proposals and tenders

Identify opportunities to expand NDT and advanced inspection services

Provide cost estimation, methodology, and execution strategies

Build strong client relationships and act as technical advisor

Support revenue growth and service portfolio expansion

Ability to manage multi-site operations and high-pressure shutdown projects

HSE Requirements

• Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE Policies, procedures and practices.
• Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative
• Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
• Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation
• Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition
• Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do).
• Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
