2. Minimum Required Qualifications

2.1. Specialty Electrical Power System Studies, Electrical Inspections

2.2. Education BE (Electrical), MS

2.3. Training Hand on experience on ETAP, Electrical inspections.

2.4. Technical knowledge

ETAP Load Flow Studies, Short Circuit Analysis, Protection Coordination, Insulation Resistance Testing, Power System Modelling, AutoCAD SLD Design, Siemens Simaris, MATLAB/Simulink, IEC, NEC & PEC Standards.

2.5. Experience 6 months to 1 year

3. Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities

3.1. Primary Functions

▪ Perform electrical power system studies including load flow, short-circuit and protection coordination studies using ETAP.

▪ Conduct insulation resistance (IR) testing and condition assessment of electrical equipment and installations.

▪ Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) using AutoCAD.

▪ Prepare technical study reports, inspection reports and client deliverables.

▪ Support business development activities through technical proposals and project execution support.

▪ Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards and client specifications.

3.2. Technical Expertise

▪ Electrical Power System Studies (Load Flow, Short Circuit & Protection Coordination).

▪ ETAP Simulation and Analysis.

▪ Electrical Equipment Testing and Insulation Resistance Testing.

▪ AutoCAD Electrical Drawings and SLD Development.

▪ MATLAB/Simulink and Power System Modelling.

▪ IEC, NEC and PEC Standards Application.

▪ Technical Documentation and Report Writing.

3.3. Business Requirements

▪ Deliver electrical studies and testing services in accordance with quality and project requirements.

▪ Support proposal preparation and technical discussions with clients.

▪ Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and reports.

▪ Contribute to growth of Electrical Testing and Inspection services.

▪ Maintain compliance with Bureau Veritas operational procedures and quality requirements.

▪ Maintain technical competency through continuous learning and professional development.

▪ Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

3.6. HSE Requirements

▪ Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE Policies, procedures and practices.

▪ Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative.

▪ Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.

▪ Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation.

▪ Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition.

▪ Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do).

▪ Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.

4.1. Continual Development

▪ Advance competency in ETAP, power system studies and electrical testing services.

▪ Develop expertise in electrical inspections and asset integrity assessments.

▪ Enhance capabilities in digital analytics, AI applications and smart electrical systems.

▪ Pursue professional certifications related to power systems, testing and inspection.
