2. Minimum Required Qualifications
2.1. Specialty Energy Auditing , Energy Optimization
2.2. Education BE (Mech) ,MS
2.3. Training ASHRAE Level I & II Energy Audits, Thermography, Compressed Air Leak Detection, Steam Trap Auditing, Motor Efficiency Assessment, Chiller Performance Analysis
2.4. Technical knowledge
Energy Auditing of HVAC systems, Chillers, Motors, Pumps, Compressors, Boilers, Steam Networks, Lighting Systems; COP Calculations; Motor Efficiency Analysis; Compressed Air Leak Detection; Steam Trap Assessment; Energy Saving and Cost-Benefit Analysis using RETScreen.
2.5. Experience 6 months to 1 year.
3. Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities
3.1. Primary Functions
▪ Perform ASHRAE Level I & Level II energy audits for industrial and commercial facilities.
▪ Conduct site surveys, collect field measurements, and assess energy consuming equipment.
▪ Evaluate HVAC systems, motors, pumps, compressors, boilers, steam systems, and lighting systems.
▪ Prepare technical audit reports and recommend energy conservation measures.
▪ Support preparation of proposals for energy audit projects.
3.2. Technical Expertise
▪ Chiller performance assessment and COP calculations.
▪ Motor efficiency evaluation using Fluke 438-II and Fluke 1777.
▪ Compressed air leak detection using ultrasonic testing equipment.
▪ Thermographic inspection of chilled water and steam systems.
▪ Steam trap auditing and loss quantification.
▪ Energy modelling and financial analysis using RETScreen
3.3. Business Requirements
▪ Deliver energy audit services in accordance with ASHRAE guidelines.
▪ Identify energy-saving opportunities and develop practical recommendations.
▪ Support proposal development and client engagement activities.
▪ Contribute to revenue generation through energy efficiency consulting services.
3.4. Self Management
▪ Maintain technical competency in energy auditing techniques and tools.
▪ Ensure timely completion of assigned audits and reports.
▪ Continuously update knowledge on energy efficiency technologies and standards.
▪ Work independently during site surveys while coordinating with senior auditors.
3.5. Customer Focus
▪ Maintain professional interaction with clients during audits and site visits.
▪ Understand client operational requirements and energy efficiency objectives.
▪ Provide technically sound and practical recommendations.
▪ Ensure timely submission of audit findings and reports.
3.6. HSE Requirements
▪ Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE Policies, procedures and practices.
▪ Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any eviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative.
▪ Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
▪ Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation
▪ Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition
▪ Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do).
▪ Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
4. Performance Monitoring
4.1. Continual Development
▪ Advance expertise in industrial energy management and renewable energy systems.
▪ Obtain Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or equivalent certification.
▪ Enhance knowledge of HVAC optimization, power quality, and sustainability practices.
▪ Develop advanced energy modelling and carbon reduction assessment capabilities.
