Pipeline Inspector for ISBL Services

Job Description:

  • API 570 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in process piping inside battery limit inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
  • with knowledge of CSWIP 3.1 and ASME B31.3, and minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Shall have sound knowledge of API 574, ASME B31.3, API 577, and related process piping codes.
  • Good knowledge of plant process piping systems, piping classes, and piping components including fittings, flanges, valves, and gaskets.
  • Shall witness fit-ups and perform visual examination of all process piping welding including socket weld, butt weld, and branch connections.
  • Shall coordinate with NDE examiners for radiography, ultrasonic testing, and penetrant testing to complete inspections.
  • Shall witness hydrostatic and pneumatic leak testing of process piping and document results.
  • Capable of measuring pipe wall thickness using UT equipment and identifying areas of corrosion or erosion.
  • Shall review and interpret isometric drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and welding symbols.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

  • API 570 certification with knowledge of ASME B31.3 and CSWIP 3.1
  • Minimum 10 years of ISBL piping inspection experience in refinery/petrochemical projects
  • Strong knowledge of API 574, API 577 and process piping systems
  • Experience in welding inspection, leak testing, and NDE coordination
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and welding symbols
  • Relevant project experience of O&G (project construction, QA/QC & Commissioning) is mandatory
