Tanks Inspector

Job Description:

• API 653 & API 2350 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of API 650 and API 620 of 10 years in process piping inside battery limit inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
• Shall have thorough knowledge of API 653, NFPA guidelines, API 620, OGRA & Petroleum Rules and API 651 applicable to above-ground storage tanks.
• Capable of performing comprehensive internal and external inspection of storage tanks including floor, shell, geodesic roof and nozzles.
• Shall measure shell plate thickness using UT equipment and identify areas of corrosion, pitting, or lamination.
• Capable of inspecting tank roof structures including fixed roof, floating roof, pontoons, seals, vents, and drains.
• Shall witness hydrostatic water-fill testing of tanks and monitor and document settlement readings.
• Shall administer or coordinate DPT, MPT, and vacuum box testing on tank welds and repaired areas.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

• API 653 & API 2350 certification or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of tank inspection experience
• Strong knowledge of API 650/620 and tank systems
• Experience in inspection, testing, and corrosion assessment
• Relevant project experience of O&G (project construction, QA/QC & Commissioning) is mandatory
• Candidate must have valid certificates – copy shall be provided along with CV.
