Project & Finance Controls Manager

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Project & Finance Controls Manager to support a major thermal power plant project in Kazakhstan.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project controls, scheduling, cost control, financial monitoring, and reporting activities under a FIDIC contract.

• Monitor EPC contractor performance against approved schedules, budgets, milestones, and contractual obligations.

• Review project progress, cash flow forecasts, variation orders, claims, and cost reports.

• Support payment certification, contract administration, EOT assessments, and claims evaluation.

• Prepare project performance, financial, risk, and executive reports for the Employer and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• ACCA, DipIFR, or equivalent financial qualification preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project controls, commercial management, cost control, or project finance.

• Strong experience on large-scale power generation, EPC, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems, Earned Value Management (EVM), cost control, and claims analysis.

• Fluency in English and Russian.
