Job Description - Sales Manager - Industry
Professional Profile
• Experience Level: Atleast 8 to 10 years’ experience in TIC industry is preferred
• Industry Focus: Energy, Oil & Gas, Industrial Services, CAPEX/OPEX services.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Development
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the Kuwait market
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key industry players and stakeholders
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects
Client Relationship Management
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with major clients, contractors, and operators
• Conduct regular client engagement activities and account reviews
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management
Marketing & Brand Development
• Create and implement targeted marketing campaigns for the local oil and gas sector
• Develop compelling marketing materials, proposals, and presentations
• Enhance brand visibility and positioning within the regional market
Market Intelligence & Analysis
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in Qatar
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Conduct competitive analysis and identify market opportunities
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team
• Collaborate with internal departments (operations, technical, finance) to ensure seamless execution
• Set performance targets and track KPIs
Business Development
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities
• Prepare tender proposals and commercial bids
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
• MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification (preferred)
Experience
• Minimum 8 to 10 years in sales and marketing roles within industrial sectors in Kuwait, including oil & gas, power and utilities.
• Experience in TIC industry is preferred.
• Track record of successfully closing B2B deals and generating revenue growth
• Experience with major oil and gas operators, contractors, or service providers
• Demonstrated success in market entry or business expansion initiatives
Technical & Professional Skills
• In-depth knowledge of the Qatar oil and gas sector, market dynamics, and key players
• Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, services, and supply chain
• Proficiency in salesforce systems and sales management tools
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
• Strategic thinking and business acumen
