You Role Purpose:

The job incumbent is responsible for transposing the Group's M&M development strategy on the African continent.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish sales & resourcing strategies to develop business in sectors through a deep understanding of client business needs in the market
• Develop and maintain relationships with targeted clients, KA management
• Define and support regional execution of ‘go-to-market’ package of services which align with GSL‘s priorities
• Identify, implement, and drive new innovative services.
• Define market penetration strategy per district and commercial Action Plan
• Identify acquisitions, outsourcing and subcontracting opportunities
• Develop and Deliver presentations and trainings to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support Africa Region in tender process, developing strategy in delivering proposals.
• Assist in the implementation & delivery of projects related to M&M
• Ensure that the right level of support is available to the Region

Your Experience & Skills :

• Experience in Mineral processing and testing.
• Experience in working in client organizations in M&M.
• Influencer and collaborator who is very comfortable operating within an international matrix structure.
• Understands multiple M&M standards and norms on an international level.
• Good knowledge of African context & M&M challenges
• Ensure client demands are translated into new services:
• Identify, pursue, and close strategically meaningful contract opportunities.
• Able to identify and deal with related risks 
• Partner with the local network to support Commercial efforts and strategic initiatives
• Worked in an international environment.
• Detail-Oriented

Qualifications Required:

• Master Degree level preferred in M&M degree or other related topics.
• English and French written & spoken.
• Ability to speak in public.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, environment with simultaneous ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects at various levels.

• Communicative.
• Be a mentor and facilitator for internal stakeholders on topics related to ESG/Sustainability.
