Overview: Join Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services.

 

We are seeking an experienced Architectural QAQC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) Inspector to oversee the fitout phase of a premium hotel project. You will be responsible for ensuring all interior construction, finishes, and installations meet architectural specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Quality Inspections: Conduct daily and phase-specific inspections of fitout works including:

    • Interior finishes (flooring, wall coverings, ceiling systems)
    • Architectural elements (doors, windows, partitions)
    • Millwork and custom cabinetry
    • Lighting and fixture installations
    • Paint and coating applications

  • Specification Compliance: Verify all materials, products, and workmanship comply with:

    • Architectural drawings and specifications
    • Design intent and standards
    • Building codes and regulations
    • Hotel brand standards

  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Prepare daily inspection reports
    • Document non-conformances and defects
    • Track corrective actions and remediation
    • Maintain comprehensive QAQC records

  • Coordination: Liaise between:

    • Design team and architects
    • Contractors and subcontractors
    • Project management
    • Client representatives

  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and oversee rectification of:

    • Workmanship defects
    • Material failures
    • Installation errors

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in architectural QAQC inspection, preferably in hospitality fitout projects

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and specifications
    • Understanding of building codes and standards
    • Knowledge of interior finishes and construction methods
    • Familiarity with QAQC software and documentation systems

  • Skills:

    • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
    • Strong communication and reporting abilities
    • Problem-solving and decision-making
    • Photography and documentation skills
    • Site safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with luxury hotel or hospitality projects
  • Knowledge of international hotel brand standards (Marriott, Hilton, Four Seasons, etc.)
  • Certification in Quality Management (ISO 9001) or similar
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling)
  • Language proficiency in [Local Language + English]
